Choral Performance

Cardiff Military Wives Choir Caerdydd
& Bristol Military Wives Choir

The Military Wives Choirs are open to women with a military connection, who want to sing, share and support. There are 72 choirs worldwide.

The Cardiff Military Wives Choir Caerdydd was established in April 2018, and since then has been going from strength to strength. We have performed at several venues across South Wales, such as Cardiff Castle Field of Remembrance, the Military Music Festival in Cardiff Bay for the Queens Jubilee and Armed Forces Day. For the 10th anniversary we joined 10 other Military Wives Choirs, for a joint concert in Exeter Cathedral. It was our privilege to sing at the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.

You could be part of our story too.
We meet every Thursday evening at 203 (Welsh) Multi-Role Medical Regiment, Llandaff. We are led by musical director, Kevin Myers, and supported by our accompanist, Tom Howard.

The Cardiff Military Wives Choir will be joined on stage at the Festival by the Bristol Military Wives Choir.

Bristol Military Wives Choir is a non-audition, tri-services choir established in January 2014. We welcome any women in the Bristol area impacted by military life - serving, veterans, wives, partners, daughters, sisters. Our motto is Sing Share Support - we sing together and support each other through the ups and downs of military life!

We've performed in some amazing venues including Wells Cathedral, Exeter Cathedral, Bristol Zoo, local armed forces days, Cabot Circus and the ICC Newport. Members can also join the wider Military Wives Choir network UK-wide events such as Poppy Day and professional song recordings.

We're always pleased to welcome new singers!

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at Mangotsfield United Reform Church. Our Musical Director is Joe Galuszka and our accompanist is David Kelly
