Chief Executive of Protocol, Municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch (NL)

Jan has been employed by the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch since 1991 and Chief Executive of Protocol of the city since 2004.

In this role, he is responsible for commemorations in the city and for official relations with Wales.

He has been involved in all official commemorations of the liberation of 's-Hertogenbosch since the 1980s, specifically those related to the 53rd Welsh Division and all victim groups within the municipality.

He is also an author and teacher for primary and secondary schools and modules for residents of 's-Hertogenbosch, focusing on World War II, the liberation of 's-Hertogenbosch, the 53rd Welsh Division, and "my second home, the beautiful country of our liberators, Wales."
